Clusters of white fragrant flowers emerge in spring against dark green foliage.  Flowers give way to black fruit in late summer and fall. One of the best cold hardy forms, tolerates shade and salt.

Interesting Notes:

Common names are Cherry laurel and English laurel for the similarity to the foliage and appearance of the true laurel.
